Here's what we usually get asked

1. So how does it work?

We're not sure we could even help you...yet! In order to see if what we do would even benefit you, we need to understand a bit more about your current situation and where you're trying to get to as far as RESULTS. We do this over a quick phone call! Just so you know, the reason you see some many amazing results from our members is that we're not afraid to turn people away if we can't help or if the program is not a good fit!

2. I have had some time off exercise, is this suitable for me?

Yes. The majority of new starters have either had a lay off from regular exercise or are starting out for the first time.

3. I have a few injuries, will I still be able to do this program?

Yes. Most people in our program have some sort of old injury or medical concern so you will not be alone there. We are able to modify, adjust, adapt and find alternatives for anything that may aggravate this area of concern.

4. Do I need to be 'fit' to start?

Absolutely not. Typically for those who kick off with us they would consider themselves a ‘beginner’ and feel as though their level of fitness is at square 1. We begin by going back to basics and ensuring we meet you where your current level of fitness is, which is normally quite low, so if this is you then there will also be plenty of others in the same boat.

5. What if I can't keep up in the session?

Your workout will be personalised, customised and tailored for your current level of fitness. For everyone starting out we start from scratch and have no expectations around your fitness so if you are a little concerned about it being ‘too hard’ then there is no need to worry. We normally have a handful of new starters each week and the vast majority of them would say their fitness is low so the workouts will always be representative of your current state.

6. I don't have any knowledge about exercise or training, will that be a problem?

Not at all. In fact, it’s rare that anyone that starts out with us has any substantial knowledge about anything specific to form or technique in the program. This is why there will be a trainer with you every session and alongside you every step of the way. They will be there to help ensure you are doing everything safely, if we’re using equipment they will make sure it’s suitable for you, if there are modifications or adjustments needed for you they will provide personalised recommendations for you and finally they will make certain you are getting the most out of the program.

7. Is everyone else going to be 'super fit'?

No, quite the opposite actually. We have a number of new starters kicking off every week and for the most part they have had significant time off regular training or this may even be their first time doing anything like this. Everybody started out the same way so we always see amazing encouragement and support from everyone else in the program too. We have always tended to attract people to our program who are positive and supportive who love to see others thrive and succeed.

8. Do I need to bring anything?

Just a towel and water bottle, we have everything else you need.

EFFECTIVE RESULTS

The first pillar of the program is it needs to be Effective and what I mean by this is you need to see consistent RESULTS. All of our sessions are a combination of weights and toning, fitness and cardio as well as work for our core and mid section area, it’s a full body approach every session.

FUN & ENJOYABLE

The second pillar is it needs to be Enjoyable and this goes without saying …. If you’re not enjoying what you’re doing then it is just a matter of time before you revert to old habits. Every day we vary the workouts and design them to suit and we have an amazing group-friendly members that are really welcoming to ensure that we all have fun. Health and fitness can and should be fun.

ACCOUNTABILITY


Last but not least, We need to provide you with a tonne of Support. Throughout every session your coach will be there to support you and make sure the program is suitable for you. It will be customised for your current level and personalised to your specific needs so you will get the best results possible in every session. You have your own personal 1 on 1 accountability coach to ensure you are motivated and inspired at all times. That coach is there to give you a massive high five with things are going well. And sometimes…. I dare say a friendly kick up the backside….. If you need it.

Hey, I'm Albert

During my teenage years, I struggled with low confidence, which led me to join a school fitness program as a way to boost my self-esteem. This experience sparked my passion for health and fitness, ultimately guiding me down a career path in the industry. At 20, I moved to Sydney with just a couple of hundred dollars in my pocket and a dream. Since then, I’ve built A Team Fitness, and we're incredibly proud that we help women lose over 800kg every year and achieve goals they never thought possible. With more than a decade of experience myself and a team combined 50+ years of coaching expertise in helping women, I can confidently say that while we don’t have all the answers, we certainly know a thing or two about delivering real results for busy women.
